Brora - Geological Guide for the Geology and Stratification

The tall Jurassic Cliffs along the Brora river are mostly shale from the Brora Coal Formation. But beds from the Brora Argillaceous Formation are also present although not often seen unless you happen to be around when a cliff fall occurs.
