Brora Harbour –The small harbour is well worth visiting, and relaxing. It is not just for the fishermen and the boats. It is possible to see Gray Seals around the harbour mouth, Otters are also seen in the harbour.
Clynelish Distillery –The distillery can be found just off the A9 as it heads north out of Brora. The distillery itself is some distance to your left as you drive this road.
Dunrobin Castle – The castle is just north of the lovely village of Golspie, it is the ancestral home of the Duke of Sutherland. You may find the history of this castle well documented locally. The ukes monument known as the ‘Mannie’ stands on top of the ‘Ben Bhraggie’ overlooking the village.
Timespan Highland Visitor Centre – This is an art and heritage centre that tells the history of Helmsdale and its surrounding area of Sutherland. Dunrobin Street, Helmsdale .. Open daily 09.30 – 5pm, Sundays 2pm – 5pm. During April to October.
